Get Involved with a Friends Group

Friends groups are essential partners in protecting and enhancing DCR’s parks. Learn more about how to get involved with an existing group or form a new one.

Volunteer

There are virtually limitless volunteer opportunities at DCR parks across the state. Volunteers do cleanups, trail work, plant flowers, lead programs and more. Speak directly with the staff at the park at which you would like to volunteer, or call 617-626-1250.

Attend a Program or Event

Concerts, nature programs, hikes, and art exhibits are just a few examples of the numerous programs and events taking place each week in our parks. Participating in these events is a great way to experience a park in a new way or learn more about its amazing resources. Click here for just a small sampling of upcoming events.
