Chicopee State Park, formerly the Cooley Brook
Reservoir and Watershed has been developed as a high use active
recreation area. The total acreage is 575 acres including a 25
acre pond. Activities include swimming, fishing and picnicking.
Fishing Restrictions: No Ice Fishing allowed as ice conditions and water levels fluctuate often.

The park is located in the southern Ct River Valley.
FROM THE WEST
1. Head east on I-90 E
2. Take exit 6 toward Springfield- 0.5 mi
3. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd 0.2 mi
4. Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi
FROM THE EAST
1. Head west on I-90 W
2. Take exit 6 toward Springfield - 0.3 mi
3. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd - 0.2 mi
4. Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi
FROM THE NORTH
1. Take I-91 S
2. Take exit 14 to merge onto I-90 E
3. Take exit 6 toward Springfield-0.5 mi
4. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd - 0.2 mi
5. Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi
FROM THE SOUTH
1. Take I-91 N
2. Take exit 14 to merge onto I-90 E
3. Take exit 6 toward Springfield - 0.5 mi
4. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd - 0.2 mi
