There are a number of ways you can support the Charles River
Reservation.
The Conservation
Trust and the Urban Parks Trust Fund accept
donations in an effort to support and enhance park facilities
and programs.
The DCR
Partnerships Matching Funds Program provides funds
to match private and other non-state monetary contributions
for capital projects on state land.
The Charles River
Watershed Association has figured prominently
in major clean-up and watershed protection efforts, working
with government officials and citizen groups from 35 Massachusetts
watershed towns from Hopkinton to Boston.
The Trustees
of Reservations preserves, for public
use and enjoyment, properties of exceptional scenic, historic,
and ecological value in Massachusetts. The Trustees maintain
an Endowment Trust Fund for the Upper Charles River Reservation.
The Charles
River Conservancy is dedicated to the renewal and stewardship
of the Charles River Parklands from the Boston Harbor to the
Watertown Dam. The Conservancy works to make these parklands
more attractive, active and accessible to all.
The Esplanade
Association works to protect, restore, and
beautify the historic Charles River Esplanade – one
of the oldest, most dramatic, and most popular urban parks
in the country.
The Charles
River Clean Up Boat is a privately funded organization
whose objective is to remove the floating trash from the Charles
River. |
