How do I get a permit for a wedding or reunion
at a state park?
DCR Parks offers many day-use areas that may be reserved for both large and small groups. Most areas are accessible to people of all abilities.

How do I get a permit to book an athletic field?
DCR's Urban Division manages twenty-eight (28) properties offering active sport facilities. These include tennis and basketball courts and baseball, softball, soccer and football fields.

Can I hunt in a state park?
Hunting is permitted in most state forests and parks. Hunting seasons are established by the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife and licenses are required. Click here for a listing of parks where hunting is allowed.

in a state park?
