There are a number of ways you can support Mount Greylock
State Reservation.
The Conservation
Trust and the Urban Parks Trust Fund accept
donations in an effort to support and enhance park facilities
and programs.
The DCR Partnerships Matching Funds Program provides funds to match private and other non-state monetary contributions for capital projects on state land.
Friends
of the Glen is a volunteer group that promotes land
stewardship and engages in trail-maintenance activities. Friends
of the Glen sponsor clean-up outings in the Greylock Glen,
mostly at the trailheads. Through the Appalachian
Mountain Club, the Friends have adopted the Bellows Pipe Trail and carry
out regular trail maintenance.
Leave
no Trace is "an educational and ethical
program" designed to help backcountry recreationists
understand and minimize their impact on the land.
