Ames Nowell is a year-round day use area with recreational activity centered around Cleveland Pond which is popular with boaters and fisherman. Development includes a picnic area, ball field and several miles of trails along the pond edge and the surrounding woods.

Directions to Ames Nowell State Park

From North:

  • Take Route 3 to Route 18 South
  • Take Route 123 West for 1 Block and then follow the signs to the park entrance

From South:

  • Take Route 3 to Route 18 South
  • Take Route 123 West for 1 Block and then follow the signs to the park entrance

From West:

  • Take I-90 East towards Boston
  • Take Route 1/ Route 3 Exit in Boston
  • Take Route 3 to Route 18 South
  • Take Route 123 West for 1 Block and then follow the signs to the park entrance
