Acquired by the state in 1999, Nasketucket Bay State Reservation in Mattapoisett offers 209 acres of wooded trails, open field and rocky shoreline for the public to enjoy.

Park Directions
Nasketucket Bay State Reservation is located on the coastline of southeastern Massachusetts.
From the west: from Interstate Route I-195, take Fairhaven exit #18 and Route 240. Take 240 South a short distance to traffic lights at Route 6. Turn left on Route 6, travel east for 5-10 minutes across the Fairhaven-Mattapoisett border. Turn right onto Brandt Island Road (just after Tokyo restaurant on left); Follow Brandt Island Road, bearing left at fork, curve right at sign for Brandt Beach Road, park on right at DEM sign.
From the east
: from Interstate Rte. I-195, take Mattapoisett exit #19; Bear right off the exit ramp onto North Street. The first intersection with a traffic light is Route 6; turn right (west) on Rt. 6; travel west for several miles, cross the Mattapoisett River Bridge, past Mattapoisett Neck Road. Turn left on the next road called Brandt Island Road. Follow Brandt Island Road, bearing left at fork, curve right at sign for Brandt Beach Road, park on right at DEM sign.
