The Bureau of Conservation & Recreation Planning develops and implements strategies for the long-term stewardship and public use and enjoyment of the natural and cultural resources of Massachusetts.

Core Programs: The Bureau consists of the Office of Natural Resources and the Office of Cultural Resources and achieves its mission through coordinated information analysis, strategic planning, resource protection and stewardship, and systematic monitoring and evaluation.
