Prequalification of Potential Bidders

Welcome to the DCR Prequalification Forms and Information page, created to assist and give direct access to all of our potential bidders on Urban Parks Division construction contracts.  The following documents are available here for easy downloading:

1. DCR requires all potential bidders to be prequalified for its Urban Parks Division construction contracts, and is directed and bound by Regulation 350 CMR 7.00 “Classification and Rating of Prospective Bidders”.   
   
   
2. Vendors interested in bidding on this segment of DCR’s construction contracts must complete the DCR Prequalification Application.  This document contains both the Instructions and the Application for Prequalification, and also contains the list of prequalification categories available.  Applicants may choose as many categories as they’d like to request prequalification in, and must provide the necessary and requested information that demonstrates their ability to qualify in each category.
   Once a vendor is prequalified, they must renew their prequalification status on an annual basis.
   
   
3. The DCR form, F-R109, “Request For Proposal form”, must be completed by a prequalified bidder each time they want to pick up plans and specifications for a particular project.  The ORIGINAL, completed form must be submitted to DCR’s Contract Administration Unit, 251 Causeway St, Suite 600, Boston, MA  02114.  This form may be hand delivered or mailed.  A separate form is needed for each project for which you want to obtain plans and specifications.
