Western Massachusetts

• Camping Services and Amenities: 12 campsites. Unimproved toilets, picnic tables and fireplaces available.
• Camping Season: Beartown State Forest is open all year round for camping. Between October and April campsites are available on a first-come basis. Contact the park before departure to check weather conditions.

• Camping Season: late May to mid-October

D.A.R. State Forest   Call 413 268-7098

• Camping Services and Amenities: 52 campsites. Flush toilets, showers, picnic tables, and fireplaces available. No hookups.
• Group Camping: 1 site. Accommodates 75 person maximum.
• Wheelchair Access: Accessible toilets shower, hiking, canoeing.
• Camping Season: DAR State Forest is open all year round for camping. Between October and May campsites are available on a first-come basis only, group site tent camping only.  Unimproved toilets, no showers available off-season.  After snowfall, access to group site is by foot, snowmobile or skis (1-1/2 miles from parking area). Must call park for site registration prior to arrival.

• Camping Season: late May to mid-October

Mohawk Trail State Forest  Call 413 339-5504

• Camping Services and Amenities: 56 campsites. Flush toilets, accessible restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and fireplaces available.
• Year-round Cabins: 6 sites. 4 cabins accommodate 4 people or one family, 2 cabins accommodate 3 people.
• Group Camping: 1 site, 50 person maximum.
• Main Camping Season: late May to mid-October. Open for off-season camping: tenting is first come/first served. Cabin camping available by reservation only, call 877-422-6762 to make a reservation.

Mt. Greylock State Reservation  Call 413 499-4262

• Camping Services and Amenities: 35 campsites. Unimproved toilets, picnic tables, and fireplaces available. No showers or hookups.
• Group Camping: 5 sites. Accommodates 25 person maximum.
• Camping Season: late May to mid-October

• Safari Camping: Available for clubs. Self-contained units only. 100 unit maximum.
