Federation of Women’s Club State Forest Land and Resource Management Plan

The first draft of Federation of Women’s Club State
Forest Land and Resource Management Plan was
released for public comment during October 2003.
Based on the comments received, a number of
changes were made in the document necessitating a
second round of public review.

On April 7, 2004, the second draft was released, and
posted on this website. Major changes in that second
draft include a new format describing the existing and
desired resource conditions, goals, objectives, and
standards to guide management, improvements to
vegetation, biodiversity, cultural resources, reserves,
wetland, soils and transportation sections , and several
new Appendices including maps, figures, a summary
comments received on the first draft.
