Participating Communities
Twenty-nine communities participated in DCR’s Historic Cemeteries Preservation Initiative, which documented thirty-two burial grounds across the Commonwealth. Dating from 1642 to 1890, these sites contain important historical and genealogical information and reflect the evolution of cemetery design over three centuries.
