Pool Supervisor
Pool supervisors are DCR's front-line management staff at each of our 20 inner-city pools. Both the Pool Supervisor and Assistant Pool Supervisor are responsible for the entire operation of the pool facility, from the mechanical operation of the pool itself to the scheduling, supervision and evaluation of 10-15 staff persons. With the assistance of a Head Lifeguard and 8-10 lifeguard staff, the Pool Supervisor, will help ensure that pool patrons experience a safe and enjoyable time at DCR facilities.
Persons applying for a position as a Pool Supervisor or Assistant Pool Supervisor must possess current certification as an Aquatic Facility Operator or a Certified Pool Operator.
If you are not certified yet but are willing to attend a 2-day training session, we encourage you to apply. If offered a position, DCR will absorb your original training costs. Your employment status, however, will be conditioned upon your successful completion of the course.
