RMP Program Update: June 2007

RMPs Completed and RMPs Underway

As of June, 2007 four Resource Management Plans (RMPs) have been completed and approved by the DCR Stewardship Council.  Please see RMPs Adopted by the Stewardship Council to download copies of these Plans. Two additional draft RMPs have been completed and are now undergoing final revisions, based upon public comments and further agency review.  Please see RMP projects underway for more information. 

RMP Program Staff

Two Resource Management Planners are now deployed in two of DCR’s seven regions - Andy Backman working in the Central Region and Paul Cavanaugh in the South Region. We have also added GIS Specialist Loni Plocinski to our RMP Program staff, based in the Boston Office.  Please see Contact us for more contact details. 

Baseline RMPs

RMP Program staff are currently working on a streamlined format and process for preparing RMPs. These streamlined RMPs are referred to as Baseline RMPs. More information about this format and the Baseline RMP pilot projects now underway will be provided in the next Program Update.
