Executive Summary
December 2000

The update to the Watershed Protection Plan for the Quabbin Reservoir Watershed and Ware River Watershed was developed by the staff of the former MDC Division of Watershed Management in collaboration with MWRA staff, the watershed communities, and other interested parties. The plan update was submitted to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection in October 2000.

The Executive Summary of the plan update is provided here in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format.  Due to the maps in the Executive Summary, the file is very large.  A text only version is also available for quicker downloading.   If you would like to review the entire plan, copies are available at all libraries and town halls in the watersheds.
