New aquatic herbicides have been registered in Massachusetts since the creation of the GEIR (2004).  These products should be considered approved for use in addition to those currently listed in the GEIR.  Please visit the following link for the MA Department of Agriculture to get the current list of registered aquatic herbicides for use in Massachusetts:
