Plans

The Division of Water Supply Protection is continuously planning to maintain the quality of the metropolitan Boston drinking water supply.  As new plans are developed, information will be posted on this website. Printed copies of complete plans are available for review at the libraries in the watershed region and the DCR field offices. The Division has published a brochure that explains the type and timing of plans developed by the Office of Watershed Management.

Please note that all publications published prior to July 2003 refer to the Metropolitan District Commission, Division of Watershed Management.  While the agency name has changed to the Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Water Supply Protection, Office of Watershed Management, other information provided in these documents remains accurate and informative.
