Sudbury and Foss Reservoirs 2010 Public Access Plan Update The Sudbury and Foss Reservoirs 2010 Public Access Plan Update establishes polices and develops an implementation strategy to control the impacts to water quality from human activities on Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Water Supply Protection property in the Sudbury and Foss Reservoirs watershed. The Sudbury and Foss (Framingham #3) Reservoirs are the emergency source water supplies for the DCR/MWRA metropolitan Boston drinking water supply. The 2010 Plan Update builds upon the information provided in the 1994 and 2002 Public Access Plans for the DCR Sudbury Watershed system property in Framingham, Marlborough, Northborough, Southborough, and Westborough. This document explains the policies and outlines control measures to mitigate impacts from public access and common recreational activities that occur on these reserve water supply lands.
