The Heritage State park is located in a restored 19th century
fire station. It offers self-guided exhibits that trace
the silversmith and furniture making industry in Gardner, also
known as “Chair City.” The
exhibits and rest rooms remain open to the public. Questions

Park Directions
Gardner Heritage State Park is located in mid-central Massachusetts.
From east or west: Take Rte.2 to exit 22, then
Rte.68 North to downtown Gardner. At the junction
with Rte. 101, bear right onto Central Street and the park is immediately
on your left.
From the south (ie from Worcester): take Rte. 190 North to Rte 2 West to ext #22. Follow East/West directions above.
From the north (ie from NH): take Rte. 140 South to Rte 2 West. Follow to exit #22 and continue with East West Directions above
