Action Items and Consensus Decisions (Meeting 2)

APH Method Revisions

1. Completed review and noted deferred comments for Sections 1-7.

2.  Working Copy of Final APH Method posted on APH Workgroup web page.  Document indicates consensus acceptance (green text), deferred comments (blue text) and un-reviewed sections (black text).

Sample Collection and Handling                 

Don Muldoon/MassDEP will compile a revised Appendix IV for review and comments using current BWSC and TO-15 guidance for sample collection and handling.

Gas-Phase Calibration and Analysis                 

Andy Rezendez/Alpha will organize a sub-workgroup to update the calibration and analysis sections for the Final APH Method.  These sections will be included in the body of the document using the existing format and numbering.

Passivated Canister Cleaning and Maintenance Procedures

Todd Kopyscinski/Contest will organize a sub-workgroup to update the canister cleaning and maintenance guidance in the current APH Method.  The guidance (Appendix V) will reflect the current standard practices and technology used in commercial laboratories for batch cleaning.  Performance criteria will be proposed.

Next Meeting                 

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 11 March 2008 at a location to be named later.  The meeting will start promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Deliverables

1. Don Muldoon will provide Sampling Appendix IV.
2. Andy Rezendez will revise calibration and Analysis Sections of the APH Method.
3. Todd Kopyscinski will develop automated canister cleaning Appendix
