Action Items and Consensus Decisions (Meeting 3) APH Analyte List
Mike Hutcheson/ORS discussed potential deletions to current APH Analyte List. 1,3-Butadiene and Indene are still under consideration for continued inclusion on the Analyte List. Hexylcyclohexane, 2-Methylnaphthalene and 1-Methylnaphthalene will be excluded from the APH Analyte List. Naphthalene will continue to be included (pending confirmation from calibration gas vendors).
Sample Collection and Handling
Don Muldoon/MassDEP will revise Appendix 5 and Section 8.0 and distribute to workgroup for final comments. Current versions still require significant revisions based on comments at meeting.
Gas-Phase Calibration and Analysis
Andy Rezendez/Alpha will revise the calibration and analysis section (Sections 6.0, 7.0 and 9.0) for the Final APH Method. These sections still requires significant revisions based on comments at meeting.
Passivated Canister Cleaning and Maintenance Procedures
Todd Kopyscinski/Contest will revise the canister cleaning and maintenance guidance in the current APH Method (Appendix 4.0) reflecting the current standard practices and technology used in commercial laboratories for batch cleaning. This Appendix still requires significant revisions based on comments at meeting.
Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 29 April 2008 at MassDEP's Regional Office in Worcester (Concord Room). The meeting will start promptly at 9:15 a.m.
Deliverables
1. Don Muldoon will revise new Sampling Appendix 5 and Section 8.0. 2. Andy Rezendez will revise calibration and Analysis Sections of the APH Method. 3. Todd Kopyscinski will revise automated canister cleaning Appendix 4 4. Documents to be distributed to Workgroup for review and comment before next meeting. |
