Analytical Issues

1. Use of dryers no longer recommended
2. Certified gaseous standards required for APH Method calibration
3. Clarification of APH Method requirements

Approach to finalize APH Method

It was agreed that the method should be edited by the entire group at the monthly meeting without the use of subgroups (the VPH/EPH approach).  The sections to be edited will be identified before the meeting and the comments to be considered will be compiled and distributed by D. Muldoon to facilitate the editing process.

Approach to develop MCP Method (CAM) for the APH Method

Liz Denly and D. Muldoon will develop a Draft APH Method for the CAM to be reviewed and discussed by the workgroup in conjunction with finalizing the APH Method.

Approach to develop MCP Method (CAM) for EPA Method TO-15

Liz Denly and D. Muldoon will develop a Draft EPA TO-15 Method for the CAM to be reviewed and discussed by the workgroup with analytical input from the workgroup.

Next Meeting

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 8 January 2008 at AMEC Environmental’s facility in Westford.  The meeting will start promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Deliverables

1. TO-15 analyte list from laboratories, including reporting limits to be sent to D. Muldoon.
2. Rich Rago to provide background statistics from indoor air study.
3. Liz Denly to provide reference for APH method Analyte List for posting on web
