Mission Statement

The CAM Revisions Workgroup will update and revise the current Compendium of Analytical Methods (CAM) based on feedback received by the Department since the inception of the CAM in 2004. All CAM protocols will be reviewed and revised to ensure (1) there is consistency among each of the CAM methods, (2) past Analytical Notes are incorporated into the revised CAM methods, (3) new technologies and EPA guidance are incorporated and (4) clarifications to the CAM, as necessary, are made. In addition, new CAM protocols will be created for EPA Method TO-15 and the MassDEP APH method.

CAM Effective Date Information

The Compendium of Quality Control Requirements and Performance Standards for Selected Analytical Protocols (WSC #10-320), effective date July 1, 2010, replaces the original Compendium (WSC #02-320, effective date May 21, 2004).
