MassDEP / LSPA Training Seminar

On Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 1:00 PM registration will open for the morning session of the upcoming course entitled "The MCP Audit 2011-2012-A Case Study Approach". This course will be offered twice, in two separate sessions that are each limited to 100 attendees. Registration for the afternoon session will open on Wednesday, September 28th at 11:00 AM. There will be separate registration days and registration forms for each session. This is a new course and has been approved for 4 hours of MassDEP "Regulatory" continuing education credits (course #1207).

On Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM registration will open for one session of the upcoming new MassDEP course entitled "Downgradient Property Status".  This course is limited to 45 attendees with 23 seats open on August 17th and the remaining 22 course seats open on August 18th at 11:00 AM. This course is approved for 2 hours of LSP "DEP/Regulatory" continuing education credit (#1429).

On Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 1:00 PM registration will open for one session of the upcoming course entitled "Managing Construction Activities at Disposal Sites".  This course is limited to 50 attendees. We will open registration for 25 of the course seats on May 25th at 1:00 PM and the remaining 25 course seats on May 26th at 11:00 AM.  This will hopefully open up opportunities for those who are unavailable on the first day of registration.

The presentation outlines MCP requirements regarding construction and redevelopment activities at Disposal Sites with an emphasis on post-RAO projects.  An RAO is not always an endpoint, but often just the beginning of a redevelopment or construction project.  The presentation   includes a review of key issues such as soil management, feasibility, construction of buildings, Activity and Use Limitations.

MassDEP LSP Training Seminar

On Wednesday, April 13, 2011 registration will open for two sessions of the upcoming course entitled "Managing Construction Activities at Disposal Sites".  We will open registration for half of the available MassDEP course seats on day one and the second half on day two.  This will hopefully open up opportunities for those who are unavailable on the first day of registration.  

• 38 seats will be open for registration for the May 11th session and 38 seats will be open for registration for the June 15th session starting Wednesday, April 13th at 11:00 AM.
• The remaining 37 seats for each of the two sessions will be open for registration on Thursday, April 14th at 11:00 AM.

MassDEP LSP Training Seminar

On Thursday, February 17, 2011 registration will open for four sessions of the upcoming new course entitled "The MCP Audit 2010/2011 - A Case Study Approach."  These sessions will take place in MassDEP offices on the dates below.  In order to facilitate an in-depth review of a comprehensive audit, course attendees will complete a reading and written assignment prior to the class.  The course confirmation email will include instructions regarding downloading the first segment of the course materials to review.  Attendees must complete a written set of questions regarding the reading assignment.  This is a repeat course previously given in the Fall 2010.
