MCP Numerical Standards: GW-2 The MCP GW-2 groundwater standards (310 CMR 40.0974(2)) apply to groundwater that is considered both shallow and where there is currently a structure built on the land above the groundwater. These standards are intended to address the potential migration of volatile oil or hazardous material from groundwater into the indoor air.
