Nomans Land Island: Topographic Map and Aerial Photograph
Nomans Land Island lies southwest of Martha's Vineyard near the sea lanes leading to Vineyard Sound and Buzzard's Bay. The waters are used by pleasure boats, commercial fisherman, and other marine traffic.

This 1971 aerial photo of the island shows the air strip ground target and other target and non-target areas that received bombardment. Notice the wake of a small power boat south of the island in restricted waters.
