Air Pollution Control Regulations for Municipal Waste Combustors
MassDEP will soon propose amendments to its air pollution control regulations pertaining to municipal solid waste (MSW) incinerators at 310 CMR 7.08 & 310 CMR 7.19. The agency sought input from the Air Permitting Forum in an early informal review and discussion of the draft amendments at a public meeting held on June 9, 2011, at the MassDEP Central Regional Office in Worcester. The public meeting was not part of a formal public comment period, but a way for stakeholders to contribute to MassDEP's regulation development process before the formal public notice and comment period begins.
