In May 2009, Massachusetts Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Ian A. Bowles named the Climate Change Adaptation Advisory Committee, created under the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2008 to advise the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs to study and make recommendations on strategies for adapting to climate change. The Advisory Committee's report will be presented to the Legislature in Spring 2010.
