Training Sessions for eDEP-WIRe
MassDEP has scheduled a series of training sessions across the state to introduce the new Wetland Information Resource (WIRe) data management system and eDEP forms for submitting Notices of Intent to MassDEP and issuing Orders of Conditions electronically.

Public Meeting on Narragansett/Mt Hope Bay Draft Pathogen TMDL Report
MassDEP has held public meetings to present draft recommendations for setting limits (Total Maximum Daily Loads, or TMDLs) on the amount of bacteria allowed to be discharged into the Narrangansett Bay and Mt. Hope Bay watershed. The deadline for public comments is 5 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2010.

Oil Spill Act Advisory Committee
The Oil Spill Act was signed into law by Governor Romney on August 4, 2004. A key element of the Act is a Trust Fund, financed primarily by a 2-cent/barrel fee on petroleum products delivered to marine terminals in the state. The Oil Spill Act Advisory Committee has been established to assist the agency in making the most efficient and effective use of the Trust Fund, as well as other related policy and program matters.
