310 CMR 30.000: Proposed Hazardous Waste Regulations Adopting Federal Land Disposal Restriction (LDR) Program
MassDEP is proposing these regulations as part of its ongoing hazardous waste regulation authorization process. The key component of the regulatory proposal is adoption of the federal Land Disposal Restriction (LDR) program, found at 40 CFR Part 268.

MassDEP has proposed new regulations implementing a stormwater management program in Massachusetts in accordance with state and federal clean water laws. The proposed 314 CMR 21.00 would confer on MassDEP the authority to issue individual and general stormwater discharge permits.

Draft Regulated Impervious Area General Stormwater Permit This permit will cover activities that can reasonably be expected to result in the discharge of stormwater from certain privately-owned sites that contain impervious surfaces.

EPA's "BMP Performance Curve" model describes expected pollution reductions associated with various BMPs under various site conditions. For purposes of the proposed Stormwater General Permit, MassDEP would presume that BMPs designed, built, operated, and maintained in accordance with the BMP Performance Curve model would achieve the predicted pollution reductions.
