Companies subject to the Toxics Use Reduction Act (TURA) need to complete an updated TUR Plan, or other TURA planning alternative, every two years. This document is the guidance for completing the initial plan and plan updates. Plan Summaries, Form S and State Only Form R may be submitted using the eDEP online filing system.

Resource Conservation (RC) Planning Guidance, December 2007

Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Planning Guidance, December 2007

After completing one toxics use reduction plan and two plan updates, companies subject to TURA may elect to implement an Environmental Management System (EMS) in lieu of TUR planning. This guidance explains the EMS requirements. The EMS Progress Report may be submitted using the eDEP online filing system.
