The Energy Leaders Roundtable

Building on the successes of the Massachusetts Energy Management Pilot, the Energy Leaders Roundtable Group, a coalition of state and federal agencies and energy efficiency service providers (mass save), was established in July 2010 to help foster greater participation among drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities in reducing energy costs.

A total of 85 facilities (water and wastewater) are working to be Energy Leaders (see map below).The Energy Leaders Working Group is helping to coordinate energy audits; assess energy usage; prioritize action items; implement recommendations; and assist in securing incentives and financial support for energy upgrades at these facilities. These meetings are held quarterly and the results and presentations can be found below.
