The MassDEP Circuit Rider Program in the Southeast Regional Office is pleased to announce a series of workshops covering essential aspects of wetlands regulation and administration based on the Wetlands Protection Act, regulations, policies and other MassDEP guidance.
Most of these workshops will be open to the public, but attendance may be limited to conservation commissioners and municipal staff for some of the "hands on" sessions.

Discuss structural & nonstructural Best Management practices; identify key aspects of E&SC including which can be controlled by the conservation commission or/and the developer |
| Farming & Wetlands |
An overview of WPA exemptions and limited project provisions that apply to farming in wetlands, focusing on the definitions of Land In Agricultural Use, Normal Maintenance and Normal Improvement. |
| Alternatives Analyses |
Info that analysis of alternatives should include for riverfront area, inland limited projects, alteration of Bordering Vegetated Wetlands; identify alternatives using Clearwater Estates plans |
