I'm thinking of riding lessons for my child. Can you recommend a reputable
instructor?
- The Department does not make reccommendations,
however, we can tell you if an individual is licensed.
Is an instructor required to post his or her license?
- Yes, it must be posted in the stable office.
I found an instructor and saw that they were licensed, but the license
expired two years ago. What should I do?
- Notify the Department immediately.
Is there a license requirement for stables too?
- Yes, the stable license must be posted
in the office. The stable must be licensed in order to rent, or sell
horses.
