Technical Assistance

Understanding the functions of riverine ecosystems and the details of laws, regulations and policies affecting rivers, riparian lands and watersheds is key to safeguarding the natural integrity of your local rivers and streams. Riverways’ Technical Assistance Team provides assistance to citizens, municipalities and watershed groups to protect and restore river corridors, ecological systems, and facilitate community riverfront revitalization and public access in the following areas:

Rivers Advocate
River corridor protection, streambank restoration, public access, recreation and ecological integrity
