204Site ID:GloucesterTown:0.6Acres:NoRapid Technical Site Assessment:RestrictionFillAgricultureOtherCompleted ProjectNAPriority:Site consists of ~0.5 acre of remnant marsh south of a Stop & Shop Plaza access road that separates the marsh from a tidal creek. The plaza recently reconstructed the access road and reportedly replaced a failing culvert that provides limited tidal exchange to the upstream marsh. It is also reported that the upstream end of the new culvert may currently be blocked by intentionally-placed stones. The Gloucester Conservation Commission is aware of the situation and is reportedly working with landowners to rectify the blocked culvert. Replacement of the old culvert beneath the access road has completed the pro-active restoration opportunities available at this site.Site Summary:Under DevelopmentImpact Type(s)StatusPotential Project
