236Site ID:IpswichTown:0.7Acres:NoRapid Technical Site Assessment:RestrictionFillAgricultureOtherCompleted ProjectLowPriority:Site consists of an old farm road crossing of Labor in Vain Creek, connecting Labor in Vain Road with Argilla Road. The old road bed remains across the marsh and is ~16 feet wide by 1-2 feet high above marsh grade. There is no structure remaining across the creek. Approximately 0.5 acre of fill remains within the marsh. Restoration actions would remove the road base fill to restore marsh soils, hydrology, and vegetation. The crossing does not appear to restrict tidal flow. Restoration potential is considered low based on the high costs that would be involved with removing a large volume of fill for a relatively small restoration area. Restoration of this site may be appropriate as mitigation for off-site wetland impacts.Site Summary:Under DevelopmentImpact Type(s)StatusPotential Project
