Project WILD & Aquatic WILD Workshop Schedule

March 21, Project WILD Workshop for Educators, Easton -- Join like minded educators at Borderland State Park, who work with kids in grades K-12 to participate in an exciting eight-hour interdisciplinary hands-on/minds-on workshop focusing on terrestrial wildlife and ecosystems. Participants will actively engage in activities, evaluate materials for unique needs & settings, share experiences with other educators, take home ideas & resources to integrate in to their teaching, and make correlations to national & state content standards. Scout leaders, youth group leaders, and formal & non-formal educators find the materials & workshop experience very valuable. Hours may be used toward obtaining PDP’s. Pre-registration is required. April 5 & April 12, 2008, Project WILD Workshop for Educators, Uxbridge – The Army Corps of Engineers at West Hill Dam invites all K-12 educators to participate in an exciting eight-hour interdisciplinary hands-on/minds-on workshop focusing on terrestrial wildlife and ecosystems. The workshop is split into 2 sessions running from 9 AM - 1PM on 4/5 and 4/12. Participants will actively engage in activities, evaluate materials for unique needs & settings, share experiences with other educators, take home ideas & resources to integrate in to their teaching, and make correlations to national & state content standards. Scout leaders, youth group leaders, and formal & non-formal educators find the materials & workshop experience very valuable. Hours may be used toward obtaining PDP’s. Pre-registration is required. April 22 & 23 -- Project WILD & Aquatic WILD Workshop for Educators, Holyoke -- K-12 educators from classrooms, youth and scout group leaders, homeschool educators and other educators are invited to participate in an exciting eight-hour interdisciplinary environmental hands-on/minds-on workshop focusing on terrestrial & aquatic wildlife and ecosystems. This WILD workshop will take place at Light of Restoration Church on 98 Suffolk St from 9:30 am - 1pm each day. Participants will actively engage in activities, evaluate materials for unique needs & settings, share experiences with other educators, take home ideas & resources to integrate in to their teaching, and make correlations to national & state content standards. Scout leaders, youth group leaders, after school program leaders, and formal & non-formal educators find the materials & workshop experience very valuable. Hours may be used toward obtaining PDP’s. May 31, 2008, Project WILD & Aquatic WILD Workshop for Educators, Chelsea-- The Chelsea Hall of Science at Chelsea Public Library invites all K-12 educators to participate in an exciting eight-hour interdisciplinary environmental hands-on/minds-on workshop focusing on terrestrial & aquatic wildlife and ecosystems. Participants will actively engage in activities, evaluate materials for unique needs & settings, share experiences with other educators, take home ideas & resources to integrate in to their teaching, and make correlations to national & state content standards. Scout leaders, youth group leaders, after school program leaders, and formal & non-formal educators find the materials & workshop experience very valuable. Hours may be used toward obtaining PDP’s. June 21-- Aquatic WILD Workshop for Educators, Berkley. Kettle Pond Farm invites all K-12 educators to participate in an exciting six-hour interdisciplinary hands-on/minds-on workshop focusing on aquatic wildlife and ecosystems. Participants will actively engage in activities, evaluate materials for unique needs & settings, share experiences with other educators, take home ideas & resources to integrate in to their teaching, and make correlations to national & state content standards. Scout leaders, youth group leaders, and formal & non-formal educators find the materials & workshop experience very valuable. Hours may be used toward obtaining PDP’s.
