LIP Target Species for Management
Applicants should identify the kinds of wildlife or plants that will benefit from the proposed management activities found on the following lists. There is some overlap between these lists and some species may be found on multiple lists. Note that these lists are subject to updates or changes.
- MA Endangered Species Act List--This is the most updated list as published in the Code of Massachusetts Regulations (CMR).

Wildlife Action Plan Species in Greatest Need of Conservation
--Types of wildlife identified by the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries
& Wildlife (DFW) and its cooperators as being in greatest need
of conservation in Massachusetts. - Massachusetts
LIP At-Risk Species
-- List of wildlife or plant species likely to benefit from management
of early successional habitats. - DFW Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Program Watch List -- Plants found on this list - with the exception of those labeled as potentially introduced - are known or have the potential to be of conservation concern and should be considered species to potentially benefit from the proposed management activities.
