MassWildlife Publications
Providing
useful and reliable information to residents and visitors of the Commonwealth
is an important part of MassWildife's mission. A number of the publications
available may be on line or free if you pick them up at our offices.
Other publications have a shipping/handling cost. For certain publications,
a check has to be to a particular fund, not just the agency. We do not
accept credit cards for payment.
"Massachusetts Wildlife" Magazine - The state's wildlife magazine is published 4 times/year at the incredible value of $10 for 2 years!
MassWildlife News - A monthly electronic newsletter available for free by signing up via email. Get the latest info on laws, events, seasonal advice and more.
With so many types of flyers, booklets and other information available,
we've categorized our publications in the following manner. At times,
where there is overlap, we've listed some publications in several of
these categories.
- Recreation Publications - These publications related to wildlife related recreation; from birding to hunting, to fishing, nature study and maps to get to those places!
- Wildlife Publications - Information on all kinds of wildlife, from mammals and birds to reptile and insects.
- Fisheries Publications - Fish-oriented publications are found here.
- Natural Heritage Publications - Publications related to rare species and habitats as well as conservation related maps. Checks for these publications must be made payable to: Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Fund.
- Habitat Publications - Publications relating to habitat management and land conservation activities.
- Regulations - Need to find out hunting season dates or fish creel limits? Info on dealing with beaver flooding? This is where you can find this information.
