Best Bets For Shad
In the spring, during spawning, shad are found in major rivers that lead to the ocean. Keep in mind that the listed waterbodies below aren't the only places where big fish are found. The rivers listed below are where the most trophy fish of this species have been recorded by the Freshwater Sportfishing Awards between 2000-2005.
