Best Bets For Sunfish
The Sunfish pin category in the Freshwater Sportfishing Awards Program includes the following fish species: pumpkinseed, blue gill and rock bass. In Massachusetts, you may hear some anglers refer to these fish as "kivvers." Keep in mind that the listed waterbodies below aren't the only places where big fish are found. Not all anglers submit their big catches to MassWildlife and big fish lurk in many other bodies of water!
