Best Bets For Trout

Keep in mind that the listed waterbodies below aren't the only places where big fish are found. Not all anglers submit their big catches to MassWildlife and big fish lurk in many other bodies of water. Spring trout stocking begins in March and finishes by Memorial Day Weekend. Fall trout stocking is usually completed in 2 weeks.

Trout Stocked Waters List--Showing where the Division plans to stock fish. This list is updated annually. If you have questions, contact the Fisheries Manager at the District office that is closest to that body of water.
