Find regional information on rivers, streams, lakes and ponds stocked with trout from MassWildlife's hatcheries. Rainbow, brown, brook and tiger trout are raised in state hatcheries located in Sandwich, Belchertown, Montague, and Sunderland. Spring trout stocking occurs sometime in March, when water chemistry is proper and vehicle access is possible. Trout waters underlined on the list will be stocked during that 2-week period in the fall.
