2012 & 2013Fishing, Hunting & Trapping License Types and Fees
Fees listed below for first resident license and all non-resident licenses include a $5.00 Wildlands Conservation Stamp fee. Massachusetts residents need only pay the $5.00 Wildlands Stamp fee for the first license purchased in a calendar year. Non-residents are required to pay the Wildlands Stamp fee for every license purchased.
If you are purchasing a license online (using a credit card) through the MassFishHunt site-- You will be charged a service fee by Active Outdoors, the provider of this electronic licensing service. The fee consists of a $1.50 service charge for each applicable license purchased by the customer, plus an associated 3% internet handling charge on the total transaction amount. The Active Outdoors fee will be clearly identified and itemized in your Shopping Cart prior to the processing of your payment.
If you purchase a license at a participating license vendor -- You will be charged the $1.50 Active Outdoors service fee for each license purchased, but you will not pay the 3% internet handling charge. Some license vendors may also charge up to $1.50 commission fee. *
If you purchase a license online with your credit card at a library or other internet access venue-- There may be a printing charge for the pages you print out as well as the Active Outdoors and Internet handling fee.
If you purchase a license at a DFW office -- None of the above fees will be charged. Checks, cash or money orders are accepted, sorry but DFW offices do not accept credit cards.
