Fishing, Hunting & Trapping License Types and Fees
Fees for first resident license and all non-resident licenses include a $5.00 Wildlands Conservation Stamp fee. Massachusetts residents need only pay the $5.00 Wildlands Stamp fee for the first license purchased in a calendar year. Non-residents are required to pay the Wildlands Stamp fee for every license purchased.
Licenses are only valid for the calendar year--they expire at the end of December.

*City and town clerks must add an additional $1.00 to the base fee of each license. Retail agents may add up to an additional $1.50 service fee to each license sold. There is no service fee charged for licenses purchased at MassWildlife offices.
