DMF Responsibilities |
| |
- Conduct portside bycatch studies on landings of the commercial small pelagic (Atlantic herring and Atlantic mackerel) fisheries
|
| |
- Sample various state headboats to collect biological, effort and economical data for the Marine Recreational Information Project (MRIP)
|
| |
- Logistical and field support for the striped bass and cod acoustic tagging projects
|
| |
- Assistance with the spring and fall DMF resource assessment surveys
|
| |
- Support with port sampling of the state’s striped bass, haddock, cod and dogfish fisheries.
