DMF Responsibilities |
| |
- Conduct water quality monitoring, sanitary surveys and PSP monitoring to classify shellfish growing areas in cities and towns of Hull, Rockport, Salem, and Weymouth
|
| |
- Provide shellfish technical assistance to municipalities, industry, government agencies, private institutions, and the public
|
| |
- Monitor and implement rainfall, sewer bypass and related shellfish area closures
|
| |
- Assist with the implementation of shellfish regulations in depuration and shellfish bait fisheries
|
| |
- Assists with the design and development of shellfish databases and applications
|
