It has come to the attention of the Division of Marine Fisheries (MarineFisheries) that there is an extraordinary delay in the production and distribution of 2006 trap tags to applicants. All valid 2005 trap tags will therefore remain valid through June 30, 2006. Valid 2006 trap tags will be required by July 1, 2006. Under 322 CMR 3.07 & 6.12 all commercial fish and conch pots as well as lobster traps must bear valid trap tags.
