Due to an unavoidable delay in the distribution of 2007 permit renewals, the Division of Marine Fisheries (MarineFisheries) has extended the validity of 2006 permits through January 31, 2007. Valid 2007 permits will be required by February 1, 2007. Note that the application deadline for a new State Waters Groundfish Permit Endorsement (GE) remains December 31, 2006; the extension to January 31, 2007 only applies to permit renewals.

MarineFisheries is currently mailing out permit renewals and 2006 catch reports. Please be advised that all 2006 catch reports are due at MarineFisheries by January 31, 2007.
