Under the provisions of M.G.L. Ch 30A and pursuant to the authority found in M.G.L. Ch. 130 ss. 17, 17B, and 80, Division of Marine Fisheries (DMF) and the Marine Fisheries Advisory Commission (MFAC) have scheduled hearings on the following proposed regulations:

DMF proposal to enact regulations pertaining to marine aquaculture (322 CMR 13.00), including:

1. the possession, propagation, culture, sale and disposition of living marine organims;
2. operational guidelines for aquaculture facilities; and
3. aquaculture license categories and procedures.

A public hearing has been scheduled for October 20, 2006 (11 AM) at the
Horizons on Cape Cod Bay
